With over two decades as a real estate professional representing discriminating clients and exceptional properties in Montecito and Santa Barbara, Maurie is one of the select Coldwell Banker top tier sales associates honored among the respected firm’s International President’s Elite. Her experience in marketing and sales of homes, estates, ranches and land, as well as her thorough knowledge and understanding of the market, gives her an edge in her representation of both buyers and sellers.
That command of the marketplace is greatly enhanced through Maurie’s significant involvement in real estate planning, architectural appreciation, and environmental stewardship. She is a former Santa Barbara City Planning Commissioner and is a Board member and officer of the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County. She serves on the Partnership Council of the Community Environmental Council, was appointed to the Santa Barbara County Solid Waste Disposal Technical Advisory Committee and is a supporter of the marine resource management efforts of Heal the Ocean.
These pursuits, as well as her invaluable experience serving on the development team of Montecito’s prestigious Ennisbrook, and in the exclusive marketing and sales of the Oak Creek Canyon Ranch contribute to Maurie’s successes for her clients. She has her finger on the pulse of the market and possesses a thorough understanding of its dynamics and the Santa Barbara area’s local, national and worldwide appeal.
Born in Carmel, Maurie is a fifth generation Californian with a strong bond to the State’s Central Coast. Her family heritage of early ranching and maritime contributions has manifested in her love of all-things-California: history, nature, sailing, beaches, hiking, backpacking, nature, and gardening, and her firm belief that “Santa Barbara is one of the most astounding places on the planet.”
